Directions to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds

There are 100+ motorhome/camper sites which have water and electric. In addition, there are 50 sites which also have sewer hookup. There are 2 dump station available on the grounds. There are an additional 400 primitive campsites. The campground and buildings are situated on 77 acres of land.

The CAMPING MAP shows all hook-up sites and whether they are 30- or 50-amp. There are another 12 50-amp sites on a cement slab which are perfect for motor coaches.

NTA 60th Anniversary

Log Cabin to be Built at Convention

Not only do Sticks & Stones Rustic Cedar Log Homes & Cabins build log cabins and cedar log furniture, they're also trappers! They will build a log cabin during the convention, and on Sunday morning, the builder (also a chaplain) will hold Sunday Services in the new cabin.

Living Legend Slim Pedersen
Special guest for this year's convention is Larry 'Slim' Pedersen of Montana.
Slim is one of the most well-known trappers in the country. In addition to his own line of lures and baits, he's published numerous books and videos, continues to write magazine article, plus provides trapping instruction.
At the convention, Slim will be at the Backwater Baits vendor booth to answer any questions trappers may have.

Trapper Appreciation Party

Groenewold Fur & Wool (GFW) will not only sponsor a Free Trapper Appreciation Pizza Party at this year's convention, they are also sponsoring the NTA Sweepstakes Grand Prize 4-wheeler.
The Pizza Party will be held at the Bootdaddy Saloon on the fairgrounds Thursday, July 11, 6-8pm. There is limited seating available, so R.S.V.P. to GFW (815) 938-2381 as soon as possible to reserve your spot!
